A bunch of scientists studying the Samara curse could have been such a cool idea. Instead we got this awful movie.

A love letter to comic books as an art form and the lasting power of Spider-Man. This movie is so, so good. I was thrilled, I laughed, I choked up. I can’t wait for more!
Since I’ve watched this movie I haven’t been able to stop thinking about the career trajectories of David Robert Mitchell and Richard Kelly. Both directors followed up their cult indie hits (IT FOLLOWS and DONNIE DARKO) with wildly ambitious tales of Los Angeles. Personally I do not like Southland Tales and I feel that Richard Kelly has never really recovered from that film. I think Under The Silver Lake’s secret codes within codes and dangling plot threads will be studied and dissected by fans for years to come. I know this movie isn’t getting the most positive reviews but I...
Once in a while a movie like this comes out of nowhere and really impresses me. McDermott was downright creepy. I recommend checking this one out without watching any trailers and if you like stuff like Zodiac.
A shockingly adequate sequel to the horrible original movie. Don’t get me wrong, this was still a pretty bad movie but at least it had a few decent set pieces and it tried to tell an interesting story.
I really enjoyed the time shift mechanics and the clever ways the game used it. They story was also heartfelt and relatable.
Tom Hardy is completely miscast in this movie. I didn’t believe for one second he was some hard boiled investigative reporter. The action scenes were so boring. I have no idea how this movie made $800 million.
It was a lot of fun to watch this awful movie with the MST3k treatment. I feel bad for anyone who watched this without them.
Best ending in all of movies? Maybe but just don’t ask me what happened in the other 90+ minutes of this whacked out movie. I have no idea.
Where has this movie been all of my life? I don’t know how I missed this back in the VHS glory days. What a fun slasher movie!
A simple premise directed flawlessly by the late Wes Craven. I still think this movie is criminally underrated.
Lighter on plot than the last few entries but no less thrilling. The bathroom fight and prisoner heist were the standouts.
Still packs a wallop after all these years. Franklin still deserved everything he got.
