Steel and Lace, 1991 – ★★★
Fun 90’s straight to dvd schlock. Wish it was a little crazier but I still had fun watching it.

Very good. The kid actors were pretty amazing. But at almost 2 hours long it could stand to lose about 15-20 minutes.
First rewatch since it came out in 1995. A perfect movie for the Joe Bob treatment.
The setup was pretty interesting, I just wish the payoff was a little more exciting.
Paul Verhoeven is one of the few directors out there I will stop everything to watch their latest film. I’m happy he finally got to make his long promised religious epic. He’s still got it.
So much worse than the first one, and I really did not like that one at all.
So much fun! It was a blast riffing on this movie with some friends and laughing about every blatant ALIENS and TERMINATOR ripoff.
Not as fun as part one, but there’s still some fun bits here.
I am such a sucker for type of thing. Give me a scifi movie about dreams and I’m there.
Acting, cinematography, editing, and soundtrack all perfect. Edgar Wright crafted a real masterpiece here.
I love the filmmaker’s commitment to brining back giallo films, they just need some better stories to tell.
I defy anyone to tell me what the heck was happening in this movie. Also please stop shooting your movies in the dark. It’s really annoying. There are better ways to shoot stuff in the dark and still see what is happening.
