A Tale of Two Sisters, 2003 – ★★★
I somehow never saw this before today. I thought it really held up.

A visual masterpiece. I didn’t know what was going on, but it sure looked great.
Striking visuals and punishing violence. I just thought the last story was way too long.
I thought the story was so-so but the costuming and production design are by far and away the best in the MCU.
I loved this movie. I’d love some sequels just to follow these guys around on their adventures.
You can see Dupieux still trying to find his unique voice in this early one. The movie still had more hits than misses for me.
Couldn’t you just go to the dog track and place legit bets instead of using a shady bookie? Decisions like this really took me out of a movie that should have been pretty good.
Not even a quarter as funny and cool as it thinks it is. It’s a rare movie where every character is unlikable.
A decent film with a solid storyline. The cinematography was impressive and the performances were solid. Loved the ending.
The story was poorly developed and the acting was subpar. The horror elements were uninspired and the overall execution was lackluster. Not worth your time.
The Imp makes his triumphant after a 30 year hiatus. Everything you would expect from the Full Moon crew.
A fun and entertaining movie, the animation was great, just wish the voice acting was a little better.
An interesting watch, the story kept me engaged throughout, but it could have been executed better. Hopefully the eventual unrated version fixes my issues.
The story was uninteresting, the acting was not great and the humor fell flat. Avoid it at all costs.
