Tried to be all high-brow but just ended up being a boring slog.

I didn’t think any of the jokes landed. And I can’t believe they let that werewolf makeup job out of the chair. A rare A24 dud.

Some fun moments to be had but all of this seems kind of silly in modern times. Maybe setting it during the early 80s would have made more sense?

I like movies that really subvert your expectations. You would think this is another John Wick-esqe revenge thriller but you end up being surprised how emotional it ends up being.

Grabbed me from the first second and kept me wondering until the last. Few movies have done that to me before.
