LATEST STUFF
Twister's Revenge!, 1988 – ★★★
A classic example of we have these things, let’s make a movie. The nonsense plot about some guys trying to steal a sentient monster truck getting boring? Let’s blow some stuff up with a tank!
GTA Online – Picking Up Some More Easy Achievements
Glad I don’t have to grind these out again. It’s the least Rockstar can do for making me buy the game for a third time! First time this happened: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S2pSuipL3Hs
Beyond the Infinite Two Minutes, 2020 – ★★★★ (contains spoilers)
Mind-melting time travel comedy. I have to give the film an extra star rating just for the filmmaker’s sheer ability to keep everything moving along and making sense. I really didn’t catch any weird gaps in logic like you do with most time travel movies.
Offseason, 2021 – ★★★
Well made and acted but nothing you haven’t seen before in this type of movie.
Studio 666, 2022 – ★★★
Way better than I ever expected. Special shout out to Pat and Rami. They stole the movie for me.
The Scary of Sixty-First, 2021 – ★★★
Some awful people without jobs investigating other awful people. I dug it.
Antrum, 2018 – ★★★
Great premise and setup, I just wish there was more there to keep me interested the entire time.
Spider-Man: No Way Home, 2021 – ★★★★ (contains spoilers)
There’s a lot to unpack in this one. Bringing in all of the multiverse villains brought a really interesting angle to the story. Lots of time to reflect on their lives, goof on their origins, and hatch new ways to ruin Peter Parker’s life. But the true highlight has to...
The Hills Run Red, 2009 – ★★
The only thing saving this mess from a lower rating was the copius amounts of practical gore.
Freaks, 2018 – ★★★ (contains spoilers)
I really dug this low key superhero movie. It took it’s time to let things unwrap instead of bashing you over the head with it.
Seance, 2021 – ★★★
Pretty entertaining but standard. I thought Barrett did a good job directing his first feature. I look forward to what he does next.
