More of everything I loved about the first movie. Make sure you stay through the end of the credits. The teaser for Super 8 was pretty good too.

Decent enough movie with some good action scenes. The best part by far for me was seeing some of Jock’s amazing artwork animated.

Good, but not great sequel to what I think is one the best movies of the 2000s. It tied directly into where the first one ended which I always like.

Interesting documentary on the history of the electric guitar featuring Jack White, The Edge, and Jimmy Page. I liked it quite a bit.

A completely terrible knockoff, aka “mockbuster”, of the infinitely more enjoyable Paranormal Activity. It was too bad even to laugh at.

Awesome movie. I was amazed at how many parents were there with their small children to watch this ultra-violent R-rated movie.

Very strange and funny comedy from Jared Hess. Sam Rockwell was amazing. I wish there were more novel segments, they were so funny.

I found the best way to get through this movie – Rifftrax! The old MST3K gang actually made this fun to watch.

I wanted to love it, I really did. Romero’s zombie movies usually comment on the times in which they were made. This one had nothing to say.

A solid B movie heist film from Nimród Antal, the director of this summer’s upcoming Predators. I can not wait for Predators – it looks awesome.

Surprisingly good vampire movie. Nothing really new in this movie that Blade 2 didn’t do better, but I still enjoyed it.
