Another sobering look at how you can be railroaded by authorities who are sloppy and in a rush to close the case. The most disgusting thing to me was the media’s lack of due diligence. A real must watch.

A return to form after the let down that was Into Darkness. Everyone got their time to shine. The action set pieces were a lot of fun to watch.

Fox should have paid Will Smith whatever he wanted to star in this movie because nobody from the “new cast” had an charisma whatsoever. Luckily Jeff Goldblum and Brent Spiner were there to inject some sort of life into a movie that had some pretty interesting ideas in it.

I liked it more now than I originally did back in 2000. There’s a lot of classic De Palma camera work going on but I just can’t get past that crying Martian.

A fun and comprehensive look back at one of the most influential horror movies, and also one of my personal favorites of the 1980s.

Such a great and uplifting movie. I couldn’t stop smiling the entire time. The original songs were all top notch. Do yourself a favor and check it out.

Another home run from Jeremy Saulnier. The cast is so good you really feel like you are watching a documentary. And the matter of fact way violence is portrayed in Saulnier’s movies is way more disturbing than your typical horror movie.

Not a great superhero movie. Took way too long, about 2 hours, before anything really started to happen. Let’s hope WB learned some lessons here and the Justice League movie will be better.

I miss the good old days where movies just got to the point. Its also funny how relevant this movie still is today.

Inspiring tale of a DIY rock god who never quite made it to superstar level back in the 70s or 80s. It was hard not to root for the guy.

Solid movie with a plot I was genuinely interested to see how it played out. That’s a pretty rare mix nowadays.

I liked the first one quite a bit . This sequel felt like it was on autopilot just trying to knock out enough scenes to call it a movie.

This was the first time in the 16 years of this series that I felt really bored. Everything is so dour. Nobody has any sense of humor about what is going on except Quicksilver.
