LATEST STUFF
The Rental, 2020 (contains spoilers)
This review may contain spoilers. A really by the numbers story until the last 10 minutes. That made up for everything. I’d love to see what someone could do with a sequel now.
The Drone, 2019
I wasn’t too sure about what tone the movie was going for but by the end I was onboard laughing at everything going on.
Kindred Spirits, 2019
Might have taken a little while to get going but the performances are the real highlight.
Showbiz Kids, 2020
Lots of interesting and candid interviews. Seeing how kids were handled back in the early days of film was pretty shocking.
Bill & Ted Face the Music, 2020
A sweet and fun send off for two of my favorite characters. One of the better 20+ years later sequels to come out so far.
Sea Fever, 2019
I felt it never went all the way with it’s interesting ideas and cool creatures. Fans of The Thing will still find something to enjoy here.
The Chronicles of Riddick: Dark Fury, 2004
A fun little Riddick tale by my favorite creators Peter Chung.
Pitch Black, 2000
This movie is lean and mean and still packs a punch. I miss the days when Vin Diesel actually cared.
Happy Happy Joy Joy: The Ren & Stimpy Story, 2020
You knew Ren & Stimpy had to come from some weird and dark place. That said John K. didn’t have to be a bully and a weird creep.
Sorority House Massacre II, 1990
I’m bummed Orville Ketchum never caught on as a thing. This movie is great, dumb fun.
Countdown, 2019
A couple of clever ideas wasted in a sub-par movie. Hopefully they figure it out for v2.0.
Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey, 1991
The wild creativity in this movie makes me like a lot more than the original. Station!
The Old Guard, 2020
It really bugged me that these people who lived for hundreds of years were so easy to repeatedly find and capture. Seems like they should be a little smarter than that.
Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure, 1989
As funny now as its ever been. I’m still laughing at the same jokes 25 years later.
