Growing Up with I Spit on Your Grave, 2019
I learned a lot of interesting things about the making of the notorious horror classic.

Part 1 was amazing and 2 was just as good. I hope they finish the trilogy.
I didn’t really like the first one so all the call backs to the original did nothing for me.
I feel like they just skimmed the surface and didn’t dive deeper into this interesting subject.
They thought they were making the “most brutal movie ever”, all they did was make a completely boring Last House on the Left ripoff with a super “edgy” but laughable ending.
I’m sure I saw this back when it came out. Watching it again I understand why I can’t remember anything about it. Totally forgettable.
Solid anthology with some quality scenery chewing by the legendary Clancy Brown.
Two good lead performances but I felt the movie dragging a bit even though it’s barely over an hour long.
One of the great 80’s heavy metal movies. Hy Pyke is so ridiculous and over the top you can’t help being entertained by his performance.
Fun horror movie with some cool new villains. The main cast was completely forgettable. I look forward to more.
It’s great to have Borat back after all these years. Maria Bakalova was amazing and up for anything.
I found it hilarious that in the middle of the entire world ending everyone this family runs into has the time to stop and give them 100% attention and care.
Messy from start to end. The characters and their powers were barely explained so I don’t know if it made any sense to people unfamiliar with them. At least they saved Warlock for the eventual reboot years from now.
Vicious indeed. The setup was compelling and the last 40 minutes or so are downright intense.
