The Hills Run Red, 2009 – ★★
The only thing saving this mess from a lower rating was the copius amounts of practical gore.

Pretty entertaining but standard. I thought Barrett did a good job directing his first feature. I look forward to what he does next.
I really dug this low key superhero movie. It took it’s time to let things unwrap instead of bashing you over the head with it.
Enormously entertaining and one of the best casts I can remember in recent memeory. Everyone was perfect in their roles.
So weird and fun you can’t help but have a good time watching this early 90s gem.
So-so for the most part until you get to the last 3 minutes. That eneding was completely bonkers.
You never know what you’ll get with a Troma release. Some really funny jokes and some really groan inducing ones too. The pizza delivery guy joke never got old.
Started off very strong but kind of petered out by the end. No pun intended.
By far the worst pandemic-made movie I’ve seen so far. I just wanted everyone to die so the movie would be over.
The screen life aspect was well done but the story itself was really dragged out way too long.
Pretty effective screen life stalker movie. The end was especially creepy and unsettling.
One of the worst screen life movies I’ve ever seen. Way too long and way too boring.
Very good screen life thriller. They stuck to the format and I always appreciate that.
Possibly the first screen life movie sets the structure and tropes, for better or worse, that will carry the genre over the next 20 years.
