The only thing saving this mess from a lower rating was the copius amounts of practical gore.

Pretty entertaining but standard. I thought Barrett did a good job directing his first feature. I look forward to what he does next.

I really dug this low key superhero movie. It took it’s time to let things unwrap instead of bashing you over the head with it.
