Executive Decision

Executive Decision

Seagal’s first supporting role and first time he is killed off. Seagal does a good job with the few scenes he’s in.

Pineapple Express

Pineapple Express

Hands down the funniest film of the year. I had tears from laughing so much. And I finally get the whole Danny McBride thing now.

On Deadly Ground

On Deadly Ground

Seagal took heat for his environmentally themed directorial debut. He was actually right but how does blowing up refineries help the earth?

Under Siege

Under Siege

Seagal’s mainstream cross-over hit. A pre-Fugitive Tommy Lee Jones hams it up real good. Not a lof of hand-to-hand combat in this one.

Out For Justice

Out For Justice

Seagal at his bone-crushing best.  William Forsythe plays a truly crazy villain. Great bar fight too. By far my favorite film he’s made.

Marked For Death

Marked For Death

Screwface, Seagal’s most known villiain, makes this film one of my early favorites. The great Keith David also adds some great chemistry.

Hard To Kill

Hard To Kill

Debut of the ponytail! Seagal’s family is murdered and he spends 7 yrs in a coma. Once he wakes up its time for revenge on the evil senator.

Above The Law

Above The Law

Seagal’s big screen debut. Some convoluted plot involving drug runners, refugees, and US senators. Lots of great fights and broken bones.

Doomsday

This mashup of EFNY, ALIENS, GLADIATOR, and ROAD WARRIOR was a total blast. I loved it! I also really liked the retro-80s synth soundtrack.

American Zombie

Filmmakers set out to document real zombies and their strange Burning Man-type gathering. Never lived up to the interesting premise.

Taken

Ever since I saw the trailer for this film I’ve been anticipating its release. It does not disappoint. Liam Neeson is amazing and scary.

Drillbit Taylor

I had zero expectations for this movie and it was actually kind of funny. A quick cameo by Adam Baldwin made me laugh out loud.

The Dark Knight

Flashes of brilliance throughout the film but it kind of left me underwhelmed at the end. Gary Oldman’s Lt. Gordon was really spot on.

You Don’t Mess With The Zohan

I haven’t liked an Adam Sandler movie in quite a while. I like the ridiculous Sandler and this was pretty ridiculous, it made me laugh.
