About 20 minutes too long and not as funny as I was expecting it to be from the trailer. That said, I still liked this movie quite a bit.

Three stories intersect during a horrific highway crash.  Even though I figured it out pretty early this was still a good little thriller.

A confusing and ultimately boring adaptation of the Elmore Leonard novel. A solid cast, including Mickey Rourke, couldn’t save this movie.

Was there any doubt I wouldn’t love this film? If Mike Eruzione’s exhausted declaration doesn’t move you there’s something wrong with you.

Hail to the king baby! Sam Raimi returns to his horror roots for a rollicking fun time at the movies. The sound design was really terrific.

Not very good, but no so bad either. Just kind of mediocre. There is really no reason for this movie to exist. Kind of how I feel about X3.

Really engrossing mind-bender from Spain. Seeing how everything ties together at the end made me want to watch it all again right away.

Very boring sequel to one of the best films of this decade. A good sequel needs to expand the mythology, not just rehash the original.

Not that funny but I have a soft spot in my heart for all things Star Wars. I was just waiting the whole movie to see Kristen Bell in this.

Another movie trying desperately to recapture the look and feel of the 80’s slasher film. It mostly fails but it has great effects.

Inept attempt at remaking the seminal 1951 scifi classic. Remakes like this make me very worried that people will skip the originals.
