The Horseman
A great and brutal Australian revenge thriller. A father tracks down the men who killed his daughter. Not for those with weak stomachs.

Better than some of Argento’s recent films, but still not up to par with his finest work. I don’t think I was meant to laugh so much during it.
Everyone gets their moment to shine in this homage to the 80s action movie. Jeff Speakman and Cynthia Rothrock have to be in the sequel!
They did a pretty good job of turning a 1 minute SNL sketch into a 90 minute movie. It didn’t do very well in theaters but will be big on dvd.
More like a loosely connected series of gory set pieces than an actual movie. Fun? Sure, but I don’t think I’d bother watching it again.
It will take multiple viewings to take in all of the little details Edgar Wright jammed into this really great movie. I want the dvd now!
Exhibit A in the defense of the “video games can never be art” debate. If you don’t have the means to experience it I would suggest YouTube.
Another very good movie from Neil Marshall (Doomsday, The Descent). I love how every movie he makes is completely different and original.
[youtube https://youtu.be/WxOGwCH9nTM&w=640&h=360&align=left ] I don’t think James Cameron expected his 3D camera system to be used for stuff like this! I love these guys. Please don’t think less of me.
Amazingly awful and hilarious at the same time. Some audience members weren’t nearly as funny as they thought they were. See it if you can!
Most FPS are very heavy-handed and serious so I really enjoyed this game’s sense of humor. Solid online multiplayer only adds to the fun.
Bad acting aside, this movie based on “found footage” was pretty good. Sadly the ending felt like setup for a sequel that will never happen.
[youtube https://youtu.be/9k10AzCcMOM&w=640&h=360&align=left ] Zack Snyder’s first original project looks insanely amazing. I just hope the story can live up to all of the crazy imagery.
A fitting end to a really great series by Brian Lee O’Malley. I am super excited to see Edgar Wright’s movie based on the series on August 13.
Great graphics for a downloadable online-only title, but I couldn’t manage to stay alive long enough to figure out what was going on.
