We Are What We Are, 2013
Glossy but ultimately boring movie about a family of cannibals trying to find their way when their father drops dead on the street.

Incredibly interesting throwback to the 1970s giallo films of Dario Argento. I’m sure I’ll be watching this movie many more times very soon.
Surprisingly awesome revenge tale from the director of A TALE OF TWO SISTERS. So many great twists and turns. Seek this one out!
Decent and thankfully short zombie movie from Germany. We’ll never understand why the guy was wearing the bear suit in bed will we?
Real fun and bloody homage to the grindhouse movies of the 1970s. Rutger Hauer was born to play this role. And did I mention the blood?
Derrick Comedy‘s first full length movie has a bunch of really funny jokes, but by 45 minutes into the movie I was ready for it to be over.
Not a good movie by any stretch of the imagination, but it was kind fun in a goofy kind of way. Nicolas Cage sure knows how to pick them.
I always love a good gangster movie. The always fantastic Ray Stevenson portrays the real-life 1970s Cleveland mobster Danny Greene.
Once again, just like Iron Man, the filmmakers managed to make a really fun and exciting movie about a character I could care less about.
I’m really late to this whole Portal thing. Better late than never. What a terrific game. The later test chambers really make you think.
Forget that terrible Tim Burton movie, this new re-imaging of Conquest of the Planet of the Apes looks great! Too bad Chuck Heston isn’t around to cameo in this one.
One of the best gaming experiences I’ve ever had. I was never a big Halo guy, but the epic battles, amazing graphics and brutal AI won me over.
Disappointing. I was expecting some really interesting action scenes from Michel Gondry, sadly he played everything pretty straight.
Pretty funny first 15 minutes, the other 90 minutes were almost unwatchable. I should have just watched Anchorman again for the 20th time.
Zack Snyder has taken his highly stylized visuals to crazy new extremes. I can’t wait to see what he has in store for Superman.
