Mockingbird, 2014

One of the better looking found footage movies I have seen. The events that happen in the movie really fall apart when you know how it ends.

The Monster, 2016

A great looking movie with 2 solid lead performances. They also score major points with me because they used practical effects to create the monster on screen.

Author: The JT LeRoy Story, 2016

Fascinating look behind the curtain of the biggest literary hoax of recent history. Laura Albert is a real piece of work. It was amazing to hear all the recorded phone calls but part of me feels terrible for all the people duped by her especially for Asia Argento.

Don’t Breathe, 2016

A tense and fun ride. There’s a point where it goes way over the line and I couldn’t stop laughing.

In a Valley of Violence, 2016

Another solid movie from Ti West I found it refreshing how John Travolta just wasn’t your typical mustache twirling bad guy. He was trying to do the right thing. And Jumpy the dog rules!

Darling, 2015

I really enjoyed this creepy little movie. I like how Mickey Keating makes so many different kinds of movies.

The Wailing, 2016

The movie was well made and acted but I really didn’t like it.

Sweet Home, 2015

Good enough movie but it didn’t really add anything new to the home invasion sub genre.

February, 2015

The worst kind of slow burn. It was so slow I could barely figure out what was going on at the end.

Phantasm: Ravager, 2016

A sad and confusing end to one of the best and under appreciated horror series. Reggie and the Tall Man deserved better than this.

Carnage Park, 2016

Decent throwback to the down and dirty thrillers of the 1970s.
