Victor Crowley, 2017
The best Hatchet movie by a long shot. Funny and over the top violence. I can’t wait for more!

Not nearly as bad as I was expecting. The middle 45 minutes were a total bore but the end was pretty good.
I’m a big proponent of horror movies taking place during the day and somehow this turd of a movie even screwed that up. The Creeper is just laughable out in broad daylight.
A lifeless remake of one of my favorite horror films of the 2000s. I’ve liked Vivas’ other movies quite a bit so this was a major disappointment.
I really enjoyed this movie. They managed to keep the silence gimmick going for most of the movie. The few times they did decide talk it made sense for the story.
This review may contain spoilers. Weak story and characters but the non-stop pop culture barrage was mostly fun (The Shining, Buckaroo Banzai, Chucky). I’m kind of glad there were no Disney/Marvel/Lucasfilm characters, we get enough of them everywhere else.
I was on board with movie until it hit a point near the end and it got ridiculous. It became so overly dramatic that it became silly.
A little slow in the beginning but finds its stride by the middle. Geoghegan is 2 for 2 in my book. I can’t wait for his next movie.
Peak dude-bro Keanu. This movie is so cheap looking and incoherent plot wise. Kind of interesting if you look at this movie as a first draft of The Matrix tho.
I really liked the body horror elements. I don’t feel like they explained what was going on clearly enough. I do give the movie props for going full-on hard sci-fi.
Really surprising. I thought it was very funny and the video game aspects were spot-on.
A fascinating look into the nitty-gritty details of how Hitchcock worked and the one scene that changed movies forever.
I really was ready to like this but I had to force myself to keep watching until the end.
A beautifully made movie. After this and The Shape of Water, Michael Stuhlbarg is becoming one of my new favorite actors.
