Timebomb, 1991 – ★★★

Typical early 90s action fare. I’ll never understand why Michael Biehn wasn’t a huge star. He’s been great in everything I’ve seen.

13 Cameras, 2015 – ★★★★

A new horror icon is born. Gerald is one of the creepiest characters every to grace our screens. This movie was so much gross fun.

Twister's Revenge!, 1988 – ★★★

A classic example of we have these things, let’s make a movie. The nonsense plot about some guys trying to steal a sentient monster truck getting boring? Let’s blow some stuff up with a tank!

Antrum, 2018 – ★★★

Great premise and setup, I just wish there was more there to keep me interested the entire time.

Spider-Man: No Way Home, 2021 – ★★★★ (contains spoilers)

There’s a lot to unpack in this one. Bringing in all of the multiverse villains brought a really interesting angle to the story. Lots of time to reflect on their lives, goof on their origins, and hatch new ways to ruin Peter Parker’s life. But the true highlight has to be seeing all 3 cinematic Spider-Men working together and having fun. Who knew Garfield’s Parker would end up being the most realized and tragic character? I really loved this movie.

Seance, 2021 – ★★★

Pretty entertaining but standard. I thought Barrett did a good job directing his first feature. I look forward to what he does next.
