Triangle

Triangle

A hard movie to get into, but if you hang with it you’ll be blown away by the end. Highly recommended if you are looking for something different.

Eden Lake

Eden Lake

Not a bad little “couple being tortured in the woods” flick. That’s a weird thing to say but it’s true. It had a rather chilling ending too.

Cabin Fever 2: Spring Fever

Cabin Fever 2: Spring Fever

Horror movies are not known for their logical plots, but this piece of junk took it to a whole new level of stupidity. I tip my hat to you.

The House Of The Devil

The House Of The Devil

A really great horror movie that feels like it should have been released in 1983. You can even buy it on VHS. That is pretty awesome.

Big Fan

Big Fan

A very dark movie that I liked a lot. Patton Oswalt does for sports fandom what Rupert Pupkin did to stand-up comedians.

The Lovely Bones

The Lovely Bones

I really liked this movie a lot. I couldn’t be happier seeing Peter Jackson doing something a little more dramatic like Heavenly Creatures.

The Road

The Road

A major disappointment. I barely made it to the end. I hope the kid in this movie doesn’t ruin the upcoming remake of Let The Right One In.

World’s Greatest Dad

World’s Greatest Dad

Robin Williams is terrific in this pitch-black comedy. Who knew Bobcat Goldthwait had this kind of movie in him?

Whiteout

Whiteout

Another good comic turned into a mediocre movie. I don’t know why studios feel the need to stray so far from their source material.

Gamer

Gamer

There goes another 90 minutes of my life I can’t get back. A total migraine inducing mess.

Carriers

Carriers

A pretty good “survivors on the run” thriller that unfortunately fizzled out by the end. I love how the virus was never explained.

Moon

Moon

Sam Rockwell delivers the performance of the year in this excellent sci-fi movie that explores what it means to be human.

(500) Days Of Summer

(500) Days Of Summer

Both heartbreaking and wonderful. A movie that I can’t stop rewatching. Probably the most truthful romantic comedy I have seen.

Avatar

Avatar

A one of a kind experience that must be seen in theaters, especially in 3-D. James Cameron is back to show everyone how action is really done.
