Brigsby Bear, 2017
Wow, I wasn’t expecting such a heartwarming movie. I’m glad I avoided trailers and I suggest you do the same. If you like Mooney’s SNL work you will love this movie.

Pattinson was great and barely recognizable. I really enjoyed the score. The cinematography made this ugly world look beautiful.
I’m a huge Tenacious D fan so it’s hard for me to say this movie just wasn’t that funny. I still love the movie anyway.
Overstuffed and not nearly as much fun as the first movie. The plot is basically the same one from the first movie. I like this world and these characters deserve better.
Maybe this documentary should have been released back in 1999 instead of Man On The Moon. It’s fascinating to see an actor lose themselves so deeply into a role but you really only end up feeling bad for all the hard working people around them just trying to make a...
For me a good heist movie lives and dies on the strength of your characters. I really didn’t like these characters and I felt they were trying to hard to be quirky. There was a great Game of Thrones joke in there tho.
A worthy follow-up to the original. It subverts everything you think you know. I can’t wait to see how the series continues.
A scary and powerful performance from Vince Vaughn. Zahler might only be 2 movies into his career but he’s quickly becoming one of my favorite directors.
It’s amazing that this far into the MCU series they can continue to make such fun and exciting movies. I can’t wait to see it again.
Talk about being at the right place at the right time. These filmmakers found themselves in the middle of one of the craziest scandals of the last decade.
Nobody plays the scary weirdo like Aubrey Plaza. This movie was disturbing on many levels.
Pretty standard man vs nature story. I know it’s based on a true story but the last 15 minutes or so were way to schmaltzy for me.
A surprisingly candid Spielberg opens up about his early years but the film gets a little spotty covering the later years. It’s hard not be impressed by what he has created over the last 40+ years.
What a great twist on the home invasion genre. I was taken aback at how tense this movie was. I really got into it. A real treat for horror fans.
The most realistic portrayal of teenage boys since probably River’s Edge. A very strong feature debut from director Kevin Phillips.
