The extreme low budget really shows. I think they tried to hide it by over lighting every scene to the point of near blindness.

It’s a stretch to even call this a horror movie. I don’t understand the point of this one at all.

Not as nearly as exciting as the other Cannon Films documentary Electric Boogaloo: The Wild, Untold Story of Cannon Films, but I did enjoy all of the archival behind the scenes footage from the era.

A big resounding “meh”. The songs weren’t super catchy. The practical gore effects were decent.

After 8 movies Dom finally realizes he isn’t always right and grows about 4 inches taller to reconcile with his little brother John Cena. Han finally gets justice and the crew are basically immortal superheroes now driving through satellites in outer space now.

A hilarious mix of Terry Gilliam, THE OMEN, and SWIMMING WITH SHARKS. I’m glad I finally got to see this. Thanks @therealjoebob!

Dom goes bad! Shaw is good now? Cipher is a cool villain. How can you not love Hobbs throwing a torpedo at a submarine?

James Wan takes a crack at the franchise with good results. Shaw is a great bad guy, Mr. Nobody is a great way to explain away the increasing number of plot issues. Finally we bid farewell to Paul Walker, but Brian will live on in retirement.

The 1666 part of this chapter was the weakest of the entire series. If you are doing an old-timey film you can’t just rent your costumes from wardrobe and call it a day. You have to weather them to make them look used and more worn in. Overall all 3...

My hopes for a cool 70s summer camp slasher were quickly dashed when I realized nothing in this chapter of the story really mattered. It could have been summed up in about 10 minutes.

Decent first chapter with some really gruesome kills. I wonder how much they spent on music because in the beginning every 30 seconds or so they were playing another pop song from the era.
