Another solid movie from David Gordon Green. He just keeps cranking them out. Al Pacino finally toned it down enough to give a pretty good performance, but I thought Holly Hunter was much better overall.

Running only about 90 minutes, it felt like 3 hours. It took so long to get to any type of point that by then I just didn’t care anymore. It also seemed to be poorly dubbed at points.

A trio of good performances really elevated this smartly written movie to the next level. I have a lot of questions after watching it, like who is really the main protagonist? I think you could argue any of the three main leads, and that’s what makes this movie great. This...

One of the few movies that actually lived up to all the hype I’ve been reading for the last few months. Pretty creepy but what stood out most to me was how authentic all of the characters felt, right down to their kid-logic inspired monster trap.

It started off as the movie-within-the-movie from FOUND, but ended being better in my opinion. The effects were pretty great, and Skull Boy was awesome.
