Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising, 2016
I liked the first one quite a bit . This sequel felt like it was on autopilot just trying to knock out enough scenes to call it a movie.

This was the first time in the 16 years of this series that I felt really bored. Everything is so dour. Nobody has any sense of humor about what is going on except Quicksilver.
One of the funniest movies I’ve watched in a long time. I didn’t stop laughing. Nobby ranks right up there with Sacha Baron Cohen’s other classic characters.
I was all ready for a new Michael Bay action movie to enjoy. I should have liked this movie but I really can’t point to any one thing as why I did not.
I think I kind of loved this mess of a movie. Give it a chance. It was lots of fun.
Some really thrilling scenes surrounded by some not so exciting plot lines. I’ll probably give it another chance down the road. Maybe it’ll play better once I know where its going.
This story sums up everything that can be great about DC comics. I love its optimism. Darwyn Cooke will be missed.
I just could not get into this movie at all. I just didn’t care for any of the characters.
Pretty great overall. I’d rank it up there with the best of the MCU so far. Every character had a moment or two to really shine.
Let’s be honest with ourselves, there’s only going to be one Twisted Sister documentary and I don’t know why they decided to spend 2+ hours chronicling their career in the NY bar scene. I wish they spent less time there and more time on the rest of their careers.
I’m all in for a good slow burn but you need interesting characters to follow along with. The only thing that really saved this movie for me was the downer ending. I really loved that.
Insightful film about the mega-store record chain and its rapid decline in the wake of Napster. I can’t wait for the inevitable documentary about Blockbuster Video’s rise and fall. Somebody needs to get on that one.
Another 80s throwback. I give them credit for messing with the “last girl” trope so you really didn’t know who was safe.
Effective Irish creature feature. I’m glad the filmmakers chose not to film everything all shaky-cam style.
