I really was hoping this was going to be a fun update of Demon Seed. I couldn’t have been more wrong or bored.

The most shocking aspect of the movie is that there were no jump scares whatsoever. What a refreshing change of pace. The movie was very unsettling mostly because I had no idea where it was going next, I was just along for the ride.
Almost reaches “So bad Its Good” status for me. Too bad they squandered such a great title on a middle of the road movie.
John Boyega seems like the only one having any kind of fun here. I was very happy to see that 90% of the action happened in broad daylight. That rarely happens in these type of movies.
A simple gimmick that I thought was executed quite well. This one really surprised me.
A real enjoyable throwback to the mid 90s high concept cyberpunk thriller with a bunch of practical gore effects thrown in for fun.
Not as bad as I was expecting but I still have tons of problems with it. The movie itself was so dark and muddy looking it was hard to see much of anything really. I’ll watch it again once it hits iTunes to see if I just saw it in...

For me this was a big improvement from the first movie. There still wasn’t much of a plot. You can tell Fox gave the filmmakers a lot more money and more freedom to bring in other X-Men characters this time around.
Fascinating for every minute of the 6 hour runtime. I love learning about events that happened while I was too young to pay attention. I just wish the filmmakers spent some time with the regular everyday followers instead of just focusing on upper management.
