S&Man, 2006

I liked this movie more than when I originally watched it back in 2010. I enjoyed the interviews with the real low budget creators but I couldn’t buy the main character’s performance for a second.

Call of Duty: WWII, 2017

Nothing new storywise that I haven’t played over and over again for the last 20 years, but I have to say the game sure looked gorgeous in 4K HDR.

Game Night, 2018

What if David Fincher decided to make a comedy? This movie was pretty great. Jesse Plemons stole the entire movie. Check it out if you are a fan of darkly funny movies.

Black Panther, 2018

The world and characters were interesting. I felt that it was very light on plot. I’d rank it somewhere in the lower third of the Marvel movies so far.

Avengers: Infinity War, 2018

aka Avengers: The Leftovers. Seriously, it’s pretty amazing the Russo Brothers can pull off such an enjoyable movie with so many moving parts and a sprawling cast. Every character had multiple moments to shine and do what they do best. I’ve been waiting 10 years to get to this moment...

Geostorm, 2017

I couldn’t stand this movie. It’s so boring and cheaply made. Gerard Butler seemed barely awake but he gets a life-long pass in my book solely based on his work in 300. Bring on HDTGM!

Den of Thieves, 2018

A junk food version of Heat, not that’s a bad thing. The 2:20 run time had me worried in the beginning but the movie really moved along at a crisp pace. The prom date scene made me laugh harder than I have in a long time.

Beyond Skyline, 2017

Much better than the first one. It was nice to see some of The Raid actors getting some screen time.

Keep Watching, 2017

Usually horror movies have some kind of redeeming value or a cool scene or two and this movie had nothing. A real clunker.

Donald Cried, 2016

An unexpected treat. I really liked his movie. I’m interested what Avedisian will do next.
