Runaway Nightmare, 1982 – ★★★
Hands down one of the most confusing movies I’ve ever seen. Thanks to AGFA @filmarchive I’ll never forget this one.
Army of the Dead, 2021 – ★★★★
There was a lot to like especially the fact Snyder is done making those DC movies I did not like at all. On the other hand I’m not a fan of leaving character building for possible prequels/sequels down the road.
Those Who Wish Me Dead, 2021 – ★★★
I’m usually down for Taylor Sheridan’s stuff but this one just didn’t click for me.
Edge of the Axe, 1988 – ★★
Has to have one of the biggest cop-out endings to any slasher movie I’ve ever scene.
Hell High, 1989 – ★★★
It took a little bit to get going but I really liked this lost 80s slasher gem.
Bill and Coo, 1948 – ★★
One of the most bizarre movies I’ve seen. I can’t imagine how long it took to film this all bird movie.
Ginger Snaps, 2000 – ★★★
Haven’t watched this since its release and it holds up incredibly well. Great cast all round.
The Mitchells vs. The Machines, 2021 – ★★★
Way funnier than I was expecting. Sony animation is really killing it.
Bride of Re-Animator, 1990 – ★★★
Tons of fun revisiting this excellent sequel. The gore is amazing and the bride’s final appeal to Dan is quite heartbreaking.
Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse, 2021 – ★★
Based on Amazon’s handling of their Jack Ryan show I was expecting a lot more out of this movie.
Fried Barry, 2020 – ★★★
Gary Green’s performance is so compelling you’ll forget about things like plot and just let the movie wash right over you.
