Doomsday
This mashup of EFNY, ALIENS, GLADIATOR, and ROAD WARRIOR was a total blast. I loved it! I also really liked the retro-80s synth soundtrack.

Filmmakers set out to document real zombies and their strange Burning Man-type gathering. Never lived up to the interesting premise.
Ever since I saw the trailer for this film I’ve been anticipating its release. It does not disappoint. Liam Neeson is amazing and scary.
I had zero expectations for this movie and it was actually kind of funny. A quick cameo by Adam Baldwin made me laugh out loud.
Flashes of brilliance throughout the film but it kind of left me underwhelmed at the end. Gary Oldman’s Lt. Gordon was really spot on.
I haven’t liked an Adam Sandler movie in quite a while. I like the ridiculous Sandler and this was pretty ridiculous, it made me laugh.
Dario Argento brought his A-game to direct this thriller. The lovely Asia Argento was great as well.
Much closer in overall tone to the fantastic original, but missing that special Verhoeven magic. They expanded the mythology which is good.
Boring and confusing. Pretty much a remake of the first one but now Corey Feldman is old. SPOILER: Corey Haim shows up during the credits.
The second of four planned DTV movies since the show was cancelled. Not as funny as the first one, but still had a ton of great laughs.
Perfectly crafted and acted drama about two families coming to terms with the events that that destroyed all of their worlds.
Remake of the not so great Hong Kong version. Disappointing debut from the directors of one of my favorite films of the year, Them.
Andy Samberg is funny, this movie is not. Highly talented supporting cast was totally wasted on this stinking excuse of a comedy.
Based on real life Canadian serial killers. Tried too hard to make Karla a sympathetic victim and blame her husband for everything. Lame.
Four rising comics on the road for 30 shows in 30 days. I’m so there if they ever do it again. Everyone needs a friend like Vince Vaughn.
Based on the actual 1971 multimillion dollar heist. I always like a good ripped-from-the-headlines story. And Jason Statham always rules.
