Double Target, 1987 – ★★★
More Bruno Matei running around the jungle nonsense. As usual it was a lot of fun.

Great opening and ending. Kind of lost me in the middle witht the romance subplot.
One of the better action movies of the last few years. I know Gens mostly from his horror movies, but this was really well made.
Sure not much really happens in this vanity project, but it was not nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be. The movie looked great.
That’s it? Disappointing follow-up to Fennell’s far superior Promising Young Woman.
Pretty standard fare for most of the runtime. I did find some fun when the final act kicked in.
Suffers a little from the “lockdown vibe” but man this was a fun movie.
What started off as a rip-off of The Thing really won me over by the end. Not what I was expecting.
I was ready to write this one off as a lockdown cheapy but by the end I really enjoyed it.
Rivals Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer for the title of most disturbing movie out there. Highly reccomended.
I can’t stand movies that flip back and forth from a found footage style. Pick a style and stick to it.
