Can’t believe I’ve never watched this sleazy Hooper classic until now. It did not disappoint.

One of those 90s movies where they really threw everything against the wall to see what would stick.

The Lake, 2022 – ★★★
Very fun kaiju movie from Thailand. I felt they could have trimmed a couple of the subplots and have been a even better experience.
The Jungle, 2013 – ★★
Very dull, no real suspense. I liked the REEF movies quite a bit. This one was a real chore to finish.

A surealist cop drama shouldn’t work but since this was from Dupieux you know you are going to be in good hands.

What starts off as an actor’s worst nightmare quickly turns into a compelling study of a troubled man.

One of the better Barbarian Brothers movies. Sadly I think I’ve watched them all now.
