Probably my favorite of all of the recent escape room movies. There seemed to finally be some real stakes for these idiots to escape.

Strange mix of 3 unfinished movies tied together with a bizzare musical number that goes on forever.
Halloween Kills, 2021 – ★★★
You know nothing major is going to happen in the middle chapter of a trilogy. I loved how aggresively violent Michael became in this movie for no real reason.
Free Guy, 2021 – ★★★
Sad to see them squander such a good idea on this movie. More time with the NPCs and less in the real world may have helped things.
Nightbeast, 1982 – ★★★★
Rarely have I watched a movie that starts up so fast and maintain the craziness until the end like this one.
The Convent, 2000 – ★★★
A real time capsule of everything you’d expect in a movie released in 2000. Don’t know how I missed this one during my Blockbuster days.
Tailgate, 2019 – ★★★
Some people might get aggravated by most of the dumb decisions this family makes on their road trip but I like the movie quite a bit.
Double Down, 2005 – ★★★★
Neil Brean’s first feature makes no sense whatsoever and I loved every second of it.
