Prey, 2022 – ★★★
Such a great setting and story idea for a franchise which never really lived up to the original. I think repeat viewings will make me like this one more than I do now.

Giant mutated slugs starting to get boring? Blow up a green house with a gigantic explosion! Don’t know how to end your movie? Blow up the entire town’s sewer and manhole covers! This is why I love 80s movies.
Over all ok, the stories seem to get less and less intersting as the movie goes along.
Interesting early Lucio Rojas film. You can see his intense and grisly style taking shape.
Another disturbing little gem from Mickey Keating. It really never let up the entire time.
A weird experiment that had some really funny parts. I love how the actors just tried their best and took it completely serious.
Miaka Monroe delivered a solid performance but I felt the actual story was quite lacking.
I remember this being much better than it really is. So much smoke in that diner you can hardly see anything.
I was shocked by how much I liked this version of Batman. Going into it I didn’t have high hopes but it did deliver and then some.
I had quite a bit of fun watching this one. The pure spectacle of it all is something you hardly get in modern American films today.
Two movies, neither of them any good, that literally crash into each other when the plot demands it. What few dinosaurs you actually see in action don’t look that great. Major disappointment.
Started off pretty strong but by the time he went on the run I was checking out. This was certainly no Hell or High Water.
No man is free while one bunghole is in chains! Totally delivered. It’s great to see the boys back in action.
