Top 10 Movies
2022
1. X
Ti West makes his triumphant return to feature films. Loved every second of this one.
2. Black Phone 2
Leans into dreamlike horror with style, channeling that Elm Street energy while keeping its own sinister edge. A worthy follow-up.
3. Nope
Another movie I'm glad I avoided all spoilers for. I really loved it.
4. Speak No Evil
What a nasty little movie. I appreciate the filmmakers didn't pull back at all.
5. Something in the Dirt
Another excellent mind-bender from Benson & Moorehead. One of the best pandemic made movies so far.
6. Men
Another gem from Garland. His stuff always takes multiple viewings to fully digest.
7. The Sadness
It takes a lot for a zombie movie to break through and impress me like this one did. A must see for genre fans.
8. The Northman
Fantastic film overall. I was completely enthralled until the very end.
9. Terrifier 2
Utterly disgusting and fun. I'm so happy it has done so well in theaters.
10. Deadstream
Quite the surprise. Great mix of comedy and horror.
