Mistaken for Strangers
A really great documentary about one of my favorite bands The National that’s also about finding your true purpose in life. Great…
The Wolf of Wall Street
Martin Scorsese just keeps on rolling along. Clocking in at 3 hours, the movie was never boring and left me wanting more.
A Field in England
Another near miss from director Ben Wheatley. His movies look great but for some reason I just don’t get them.
Veronica Mars
Dark and funny, just like the show. This could have been a total train wreck but I think it delivered.
300: Rise of an Empire

Riddick

Dracula 3D
Embarrassingly bad movie from the one time master of horror Dario Argento. Video games looked better than this in 1992.
Oblivion
Better than I thought it was going to be. The overall design of the movie was very cool.
The To Do List
Aubrey Plaza gave a really fearless performance in this raunchy and sweet comedy. Funny stuff.
Her
I wasn’t expecting to love a movie about a guy falling in love with his operating system. Kudos Spike Jones.
