LATEST STUFF
Dune: Part Two, 2024 – ★★★
Everything still looks visually stunning but I think I prefer the more story focused first part over this one.
Behemoth, 2021 – ★★
Interesting in concept, falls apart with the script and acting. It felt like the actors were just telling you the story.
High on the Hog, 2019 – ★
This move was a headache inducing mess. A grindhouse movie made by someone who has no idea what that means.
Time not important. Only life important. #mondoshawan #fifthelement #3dprinting #elegoojupiter #maker

Irreversible, 2002 – ★★★★
The recently Straight Cut of this infamous classic may be even tougher to watch in my opinion.
Sole Survivor, 1984 – ★★★
You can easily tell how much Final Destination and It Follows borrowed from this lost 80s gem.
Lifechanger, 2018 – ★★
If you are looking for a movie about a depressed shape shifter this is the movie for you.
Night Screams, 1987 – ★★★
Tons going on but nothing going on at the same time. I dig these low budget regional horror movies.
Graduation Day, 1981 – ★★
Run of the mill early 80s slasher. The football scene is a classic but there’s not much more there to keep your interest.
Assassination Nation, 2018 – ★★
Kind of went off the rails towards the last third. You can see direct connection in style and tone to Levison’s work on Euphoria.
Texas Chainsaw 3D, 2013 – ★★★
A fun rewatch in full 3D this time. Still don’t understand why people don’t like it. What are you supposed to do in a Chainsaw sequel? There’s not a lot of options with his series.
Road House, 2024 – ★★★
Movie was fine but would have been 100 times better if Conor McGregor played Dalton. He was awesome strutting around.

Frogman, 2023 – ★★
Nothing you haven’t seen done better in 100 other found footage horror movies. I really don’t get the hype behind this one.
