March 25 – Sucker Punch - Zack Snyder‘s first original script sure looks like a crazy visual treat.
April 1 – Source Code - Duncan Jones‘ follow-up to ‘Moon’ looks like another good twist on a standard sci-fi idea.
April 8 – Your Highness - Danny McBride and James Franco team-up for a medieval fantasy stoner comedy.
March 4 – Apollo 18 - Found footage ‘documentary’ about what happened during the last moon landing NASA claims never happened.
May 6 – Thor - I never was a huge fan, but bringing in Kenneth Branagh to direct has me interested.
May 27 – The Tree of Life – Terrence Malick is a genius. I’m there no matter what he does.
June 3 – X-Men: First Class - A re-boot sends the mutants back to the 1960′s to see how it all began.
June 10 – Super 8 - J.J Abrams‘ homage to early Spielberg Amblin films.
June 17 – Green Lantern – Ryan Reynolds takes on another comic book character. The special effects need to be realistic to work.
July 22 – Captain America: The First Avenger - WWII action movie about the origin of Marvel’s greatest hero.
July 29 – Cowboys & Aliens - Han Solo and James Bond team-up to ward of aliens in the wild west.
October 7 – Real Steel - The trailer looks incredibly cheesy, but it does feature fighting robots.
October 7 – Wanderlust - The latest from the comedy minds that brought you The State and Wet Hot American Summer.
October 14 – The Thing - I’m very nervous about this unnecessary prequel to the John Carpenter / Kurt Russell classic.
October 21 – Paranormal Activity 3 - Where will they go after part 2? I’ll be there opening day.
November 23 – Rise of the Apes - Another attempt to relaunch the talking apes series with James Franco and Andy Serkis.
December 16 – Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol - I really liked part 3. Brad Bird‘s first live action movie.
December 21 – The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo - David Fincher directs the American remake of the Swedish phenomenon.

John Carpenter’s The Ward - Carpenter‘s first feature film in 10 years looks like a return to form.
